IR REMOTE CONTROL

There are many remote control around us, TV Remote Control (RC), Air Conditioner RC, VCD/DVD RC, Mini Compo, Toys RC,and many more. In data transmission, basically those RC work by using IR (Infra Red) propagation signal, RF (Radio Frequency) signal or both IR and RF. TV, VCD/DVD, Mini Compo can be integrated into 1 device, called Universal Remote Control (MDR). AC RC also works by using IR but, usually, will not be integrated with TV RC because AC RC has different IR propagation scheme. There are many Universal RC maker, i.e. Audiovox, UEI and Chung Hop.

In this article we only talk about RC for TV, VCD/DVD and Mini Compo. We do not discuss about AC RC and RF RC. Basically, TV RC and AC RC use same concept
